These terms apply when you buy from the Chaperone Collective shop. Please read them before you order. Our Refunds and Returns page is part of these terms.
1. About us

2. Our products
Every item is made to order: it is printed for you by our print partner in the UK after you order, then checked, packed and sent out. Colours on screen can look a little different from the finished product, and sizes can vary slightly between garments. Size and product details are shown on each product page.
3. Your order
When you place an order we email you to confirm we have received it. Our contract with you starts when we confirm that we have accepted your order. If we cannot make or deliver an item, for example because our print partner has stopped supplying it, we will tell you and refund you in full for that item.
4. Prices and payment
Prices are in pounds sterling and include any VAT that applies. Delivery costs are shown at checkout before you pay.
You can pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay through Stripe, or with the other options shown at checkout, such as Link, Clearpay or Amazon Pay. Payments are processed by those providers. We never see or store your full card number. If you choose to pay later or in instalments, that provider’s own terms also apply.
5. Making and delivering your order
Please allow 3 to 5 working days for your order to be printed. Delivery estimates for your address are shown on each product page and at checkout. They are our print partner’s estimates, not guaranteed dates. The items are your responsibility once they have been delivered to the address you gave us.
6. Cancellations, returns and faults
You can change your mind within 14 days of receiving your order, and you have full legal rights if an item is faulty, misprinted or damaged. How it works is set out on our Refunds and Returns page.
7. Your information when you order
To take and deliver your order we collect your name, delivery and billing address, email address, phone number if you give it, and the details of what you ordered. We use this to make and deliver your order, to keep you updated about it, to deal with any questions, returns or refunds, and to keep the records the law requires.
We share only what is needed with the businesses that help us fulfil your order:
- Our print partner, InkThreadable, which prints and dispatches your order, and the delivery companies it uses.
- Payment providers: Stripe, and Clearpay or Amazon Pay if you choose them, to take payment and prevent fraud.
- Our website host, which stores the order records for us.
We use this information because we need it to carry out our contract with you, and we keep order records for as long as the law requires for tax and accounting, usually six years. 8. Our logo and designs
The Chaperone Collective name, logo and designs belong to us. Buying a product does not give you the right to copy or reuse them.
9. Our responsibility to you
If we do not keep to these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that was a foreseeable result of that. Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for your legal rights as a consumer.
10. The law that applies
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in the courts there.
