Account and Personal Data Deletion

Use this page to request deletion of a Chaperone Collective account, associated personal information or information received through a Facebook or other Meta connection.

What to include

  1. Your full name and the email address associated with the Chaperone Collective account.
  2. Your account role, such as chaperone or tutor, production or hirer, or agency.
  3. A clear statement that you want the account and associated personal information deleted.
  4. For Facebook or Meta data, the email associated with that connection and any app-scoped user identifier shown to you, if available.

Do not send your password, a full DBS or AccessNI certificate, or unnecessary identity documents. We will ask for proportionate verification only if it is needed to protect the account or information.

What happens next

  • We will confirm receipt and verify the request where necessary.
  • We will disconnect relevant Facebook or Meta connections and stop future use of associated platform data within our control.
  • We will promptly delete or de-identify personal information that is no longer required.
  • We will normally complete or answer the request within one calendar month after receiving a valid request and any information reasonably needed to confirm identity.
  • We will confirm the outcome and explain any limited information that must be retained.

Information that may need to be retained

The right to deletion is not absolute. We may retain the minimum information needed for security, fraud prevention, safeguarding, contract, accounting, insurance, complaint, dispute or legal obligations. Access to retained information will be restricted and it will not be used for an unrelated purpose.

Facebook and Meta account settings

You can also remove a connected app through your Facebook or Meta account settings. Removing the connection may stop future access, but it may not by itself delete information already held by Chaperone Collective. Send the request above so that we can identify and action the information within our systems.
